Nick and Ally met through a mutual friend....well, that friend was her boyfriend at the time and one of Nick's friends. "When I first saw Ally I was incredibly impressed with my friend Chris for being able to get himself such a pretty girl." As time went on their relationship began to fizzle out and after a couple months of dating they just called it quits. Nick had yet to stop thinking about Ally so, he figured it would be harmless to strike up a conversation and see where it ended. Luckily it ended up in a date.
"I was going to be in a wedding and wanted to make sure I had the best looking date. I casually asked Ally if she would like to be my date and for some reason she agreed. Because I was in the wedding we were going to have to arrive at different times. This led to a bonus date where I could drive her to the destination so she knew how to get there. After showing her how to get to the wedding, we got dinner on the plaza. At that time, my car was acting funny so I had borrowed my mom's car to drive that night. This wouldn't be an issue had I remembered to move my wallet out of my car into my mother's car!!! Ally paid for dinner and I immediately payed her back, but I clearly did not nail the first date!"
"Second date managed to be worse! The next day Ally arrived at the wedding ceremony knowing absolutely nobody and completely self conscious. I, being the smooth guy that I am, tried to introduce her to everyone and anyone while I sat at the front of the reception with the rest of the bridal party. I was beginning to learn that Ally is not what some people would call a social butterfly. She contemplated getting out while I wasn't watching, but for some reason stuck it out. We both got a crash course early as to how the other operates. After those two disasters we continued to date and grew as a couple."
"Four years later, I decided that I had waited long enough and I wanted to propose! I talked it over with my mother and we decided it was time to buy a ring. She knew just the place and took me straight to Especially Jewelry. Once I walked in, there was a very calming atmosphere that let me know that this was going to be on my time. Del and his team worked with us and went above and beyond to make sure that I was getting what Ally and I needed. They found exactly what Ally wanted and made sure that a high school teacher could afford a ring that would turn heads. Still to this day we are so incredibly thankful for the direction, kindness and thought the Especially Jewelry family gave to my wife and me." Nick
